"Which way now?" We got hammered by a snowstorm high in the Wind River Range and had to spend a day in our tents as a foot of snow fell. The next day we were greeted with bluebird skies and warm temps. However, the recent snow made the crossing over a mountain pass especially precarious as the soft snow hid the loose and crumbly rock. Our crew made the first path of the day and guided the steps of all other followers.
