Hello I've been shooting for about 7 years now but this is my first time doing a product photography shot. This was about 4 or 5 layers stitched together and the back light was a bare flash shifted to match the hue of the bottle.

Good shot ! What about diffusing your background light a little bit? The fall off of light is quite quick
