Evening photo taken in a valley between volcanos Cotacachi & Imbabura in Ecuador. Imbabura is the subject and Cotacachi is providing the late day shadows. The volcanos are assigned gender in Ecuador. This pair, male Imbabura and female Cotacachi are consider lovers and sent love letters to each other in the form of flaming rocks across the valley. When Cotacachi is covered in snow, it is said they spent the night together.
