This image is part of the series of images from my trip home to visit mum and dad in Denmark. Dad was ill with cancer and lost the battle while i was home. I am glad that I got to say goodbye in person and not back in Australia when it happened. i captured this image on a morning drive with mum a few days after dad's passing. The Print of this scored Gold with Distinction at the 2016 Australian Professional Photography awards and was part of the folio that won 2016 Aipp Australian Landscape photographer of the year.
