"Lava Wonderland" In April 2018, a Historical event started in the lower Puna district on the big island of Hawaii. 24 Fissure opened up pumping lava in to residential areas displacing thousands of families. The once beautiful Kapoho bay that was home to many is now consumed by lava and has changed the topography of this land forever. Being apart of documenting this historical event means images and video taken during it have value to residents and people who lived in that area.
