The composition is great. The people are just too far away to draw me in. Also pictures of people looking at their phones is such a common occurrence. The man and woman off to the side are the real story here.

I agree with Rob Davis' comment; I can't help but feel like a slight shift to photographer's right would have framed and balanced both pairs of people, potentially adding to the social commentary that this image almost makes on 'communication'.
