If you zoom in enough you can just about see what it says on his shoes, he never knew until the reception started.

Ouch on the votes lol, my clients loved this photo and so did I. Didn't realise it was this bad. :| oopsies.
It is not a bad photo at all. It just doesn't show love for me.
Hmm... I get what you mean. That's a fair one. Thought someone getting married could have done it, but I do understand why it won't fit the Love theme too. Thanks.
This is an awesome wedding photo, just doesn't fit the Valentine's theme is all. I think that's why it's getting lower ratings. Absolutely is website worthy, but we still need to keep the contest theme in mind.
Yeah fair enough. Makes sense.
It's not a bad photo at all. I can share my thoughts while first seeing it. It took me a moment to realize what was happening. The first thing I registered was the ceiling arch and the space. I would make a mental note for next time to try to make the bride and groom pop more through editing in post and composition. Thanks for sharing the photo, I enjoyed seeing it and thinking about it.
Actually now that you mention it, I can see what you mean. I could make them pop a lot more in this photo. As for the ceiling, I wanted a wide shot of the whole scene, but maybe this was a bit much on the scene side as it was a large church. Next time I get a smaller church I'll try it out there. Got a new lens to do it this time too :D
Thanks Tony
