not sure how to vote as can't relate to topic.
At this moment 42 people have voted on this image, can you please explain how this relates to technology? 42 people should have not even voted because they are probably 1's for it not being on topic.
He said it's a "reservoir" which is absolutely an application of scientific knowledge for a purpose. That is technology. As for the "selling" aspect if you're concerned about that, civil engineer needs to sell their services which might include images of their products. Might not be what you expected, but it completely fits in my opinion even if it isn't a computer.
You're right, but I need to see it in the image. I always look at the image and rate (just as the guys do when judging). If I can't see the theme of the image, I give it a 1 and move on. As photographer's, we need to convey the story and in this case, the story is a portrait landscape at sunset. Not technology.
