Actually I wanted to shot the night sky with that beautiful foreground. My plans changed quickly when the sky started to burn. I couldn‘t stop taking images because the sky changed its colors dramaticly every second.

Solid image for me :)
One question, how do you get most of the image in focus? I mean, f8 ish is clear, but where do I have to focus? forground or infinity?

When I remember right, I focused on the trees or the center.

This one is begging for very long exposure! It is a beautiful place, but if you can go back there, try taking the shot with 6 or 10 stop ND filter, or a few shots, and stack them later. ;)

Thanks for the tip. I am thinking about a night night shot as well. but you´re right. a long exposure would work pretty well
