These things are scary and big, I was out walking and notice this one on the ground dying. I pick him up and put him in a cup I had with me and took him home. He died by the time I got him home and I used pins and strings to rope him and his legs into position. Then I let the wasp dry out for a week and then took this picture.

Thank you, my 8 yr old daughter is really into bugs, we usually take photos of live bugs, so this was a nice change and allowed us to really nail the focus.
That is a nice addition to the story, that it is something you share with your daughter, I like the picture even more now
