the lighting and image look a little flat. Making it hard to judge and see where the runner is in the frame.
I'm not sure what the best way is to help with that.
Perhaps popping a flash or two somewhere to create some shadows and depth?
Perhaps that would "place" the runner into the frame more. As he almost looks composited into the image, which he isn't.
