I am submitting this image to the contest because it is the best out of a set of 4, all taken at the same location, aka my front yard that is overseeing a mountain gorge from about 24 km away. Each night I go to sleep after viewing an amazing sunset over the gorge, but only sometimes does it give the opportunity to stop time.

As the sky and the gorge is ever giving I decided to start a project but I only managed to create 4 images in the span of a year, mind you this was a while back and then I also used to work as a photographer whereas now I only do it as a hobby and everything professional makes me feel sick, that's as far as I will get into the subject.

Obviously, I made the light my subject, therefore, each of the images has it's own unique light tamper using a luminosity mask.

In conclusion, because I have this golden mine available on hand, and because of the volatile nature of it, I decided to name this image in particular "White Hole". Which in terms of speculative astrophysics is the opposite of a black hole.

Even as you scan the image, you can see the white hole, but all that comes towards you is dark. It's probably safe to say that Interstellar is a massive inspiration for this image.

Some things have to die before somethings come to life.
