This is a solid image for me, but would go to the next level with just a *little* more detail recovered from some of the highlights. With a naturally backlit scene I know it's hard to control, but the blown out sky makes up a significant portion of the frame with this crop. I wonder if a more square crop would make it less noticeable and bring the focus back down to the child and the beautiful light and colors in the foreground. Regardless, great work!

Thanks for great feedback Josh! Unplanned photo and actually shot with a 90mm manual macro lens. Agree about the blown out parts and have tried tighter crops. But personally I prefer the kid to be small in a big world.
However, I will try a more planned approach next autumn...the colours get spectacular!
