Taken in the BWCA in MN. earlying morning sunset. Although the light is only amplifying the fog in the background creating a lot of negative space.

there's light back there but it's not really backlit
To be fair the contest didn't specify how defused the light had to be. The fact it is that this was taken with the light source behind the edge of the island. It's really foggy but nonetheless true.
