Hi Laura. I like the subject and the blurred background. The bird is underexposed and the photo has very little in terms of colour.
Did you take this as a RAW image?
Thanks for your comments and I take your points about the bird and limited colors. Unfortunately, I was not shooting in RAW at this point. This was an older picture and I have learned much since! I do remember this was a difficult shot to make. I was looking directly into the sun and was trying not to scare the bird away. Although not perfect, I was pleased with the result.
We're all learning. Just keep at it and soon you'll be taking awesome photos. :)
