To whomever said this was just a snapshot, I guess you're correct if knowing where to position her, compose and expose correctly to freeze her motion at the top of her leap with a fine spray of water from her her foot is a snapshot, I'll accept that comment. How are most of the other backlit submissions not considered snapshots?
I believe it's not because of composing and other, but because it's too underexposed and overall very grundgy look
agreed not a snapshot, i know its water and everything but you have to clean up the lens spots, it is vitally important.
Fun concept and I like the spray of droplets after her hair. I think the way her shirt has bunched up (or possibly it's her left arm) has made the silhouette around the torso a bit hard to interpret. There is another comment about dirt on the sensor, if you have issues with that a wider aperture may help.
Appreciate & agree with all your comments below. Thank all of you for taking the time to offer constructive comments to improve my work.
It's not a snapshot. The only thing I would like is to have the horizon below her feet. There is a lot of information in this image and I think its missed by many. I gave it a 3 it's a shot that most dancers would love to have.
Yeah, I should have been sitting on the wet sand, but I wasn't really dressed for, or anticipating this shot. Ugh, missed opportunity. Thanks for taking time to respond.
