Epic Wedding Photos

This is a portrait from one of my favorite wedding days ever. The couple wanted foggy wedding day portraits on top of a mountain near Asheville N.C.
When their wedding day arrived, a storm blew in with 60mph winds and rain.
The couple asked me if I would still be ok if we went out anyway and I was absolutely happy to oblige.
We were halfway up the mountain when the rain stopped and the fog rolled in. The lighting was incredible.
It was cold. It was wet. It was cloudy.
But...
My couples spirits were bright and I was 100% in my element.
On paper, this wedding day was difficult. In reality it was simply my greatest wedding day experience as a photographer in over a decade.
I’d spend every remaining day of my career working with lovely people like this in the rain, in the woods at the top of the world.
