The longtail boats in Krabi are used to get to ferry people to the nearby islands. These trips end just before sunset. I was out shooting the usual not so unique silhouette shot of the other boats nearby when I saw this man just come in. I did not really plan this shot. The composition worked because the elements came together. I was just lucky to be there to capture it. The credit belongs to this man, his boat and the epic sunset that Krabi has to offer.
Sometimes it's all in the timing isn't it? Glad you were ready for it. Nice shot. Can you bring out a bit more detail in the back of his bag and legs? Whereas I like the sky and the photo is really good with it, try cropping it out all the way down to the top of the clouds. I actually like the crop better. It gets the horizon and sun out of the middle of the shot.
