I am sorry. This image is a snapshot in my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions...
It is sort of backlight but I can still see some details in the child.
If you were to move so the sun was to your back that would help this image 100% taking it to a possible two.
The wave/water at the bottom right of the image is distracting. I would like to see the water continuous on the right side or drop/clone stamp the little water out.
I would consider a radial filter along the top third for the sky to darken a little and add some dehazing.
I hope that my feedback helps a little. I am sorry that I voted One-star...
