Taken on march 26th, day 10 of quarentine. Sunrise at 05:39 in Cusco, Peru.
I've been photographing every day from my window since the mandatory quarentine first started here in Peru on the 16th of March.
It's been quite crazy in here. in the first 15 days, 26.000 people where arrested for not complying with the mandatory quarentine. Just like Panama and Puerto Rico, there are specific days for guys and girls to go out. You can only go out for food shopping, pharmacy or the bank and only from 06am to 6pm. Peru knows it's health system is weak so the only way to really fight this virus is to take strict measures.

Stay safe.

I love the colors on the image
thank you Maria
Nice photo. I like the subtle colors. I'd like to come to Peru to visit some day. Restrictions here too and I have to say the U.S. federal government response has not been very good- each state seems to be on its own. New York is getting 1,000 ventilators from China!
i'm baffled by how the US have been addressing this problem. It has not been taken seriously for too long and the numbers are a proof of this. I really hope things turn to the best in the following weeks (as in, nrs aren't as high as expected)! Best wishes and stay healthy!
