Deadvlei, Namibia 2019.
Setting foot in one the most remote and breathtaking location on the planet wasn't an easy mission, but a memorable one. Step after step, climbing million of grains of sand under a most ferocious sun, Deadvlei was opening in front of my eyes.
In this wide angle shot I wanted to share with the viewer the feeling of entering into a mystic shrine, accessing through a sort of "gate" represented by this two (amongst many) thousand years old trees. The afternoon sun couldn't be any docile in the Namibian cobalt sky.
What a bizarre landscape. Feels a little under-exposed.
Love it! Reminds me of Salvador Dali.
That horizon looks really sharp...
