I wanted the focus to be on the eye and the clouds reflecting in the eye. I think the blurriness and to the dreamy felling of a bullfrog in deep thought.

Congratulations to the winners!
nice shot i like this.
Thank you!
I am impressed that you were able to get this close to a bullfrog. I've tried to catch frogs and toads before, I know they can be a bit skittish. Since the eye is the focal point of this image, I would try dodging it to bring some more attention to it. I'd also experiment with some different crops. It's in a bit of an awkward position where it's not quite centered, but not quite rule of thirds either.
Thanks for the input! i'm surprised she let me get that close too. They usually jump before I even see them. But she didn't and I just slowly crawled over and crept up. I did bring up the eye some, but didn't want to get too carried away. It's a fairly tight crop as is the original has the entire body, but it falls too far out of focus and I thought it took more away than added to the shot.. In hind sight I wish I would have lost more of the body in camera and kept more in front. Thanks again for the feedback it gives me some things to think about.
