This is my favourite vignette from a commissioned project in Ireland. This was simply captured in one shot with no flash. There was a bank of windows to right which gave beautiful soft light onto this fireplace. I waited until there was no direct sunlight hitting the room as I wanted a soft layer of light across the fireplace to add some depth with shadows.
