This image wasn't shot for a client it was for practice. I love shooting architecture at night it forces me to problem-solve on-site and in post to a greater degree than a well-lit sunset or midday shot would and pushes me to make my client work better.
I was standing in a car park just below the top level. I tried compositions from two other levels as well but this is the one I liked the most. Once I got my height correct it was just a matter of lining up the famous water tower in our town with the end of the brick section of the building. I wanted the image to contain a certain geometric flow to it and that was the only composition I could find that fit the look I wanted.
This was taken in July of 2019 around 9 pm. Shot on a Canon T7i with a 55-250mm at 70mm. There were 5 brackets shot for this one-stop apart. The base image was at ISO 100 F/8 11sec.
