Where modernism meets history.
--
This picture was shot as it is. One shot! Simply cloning for blemishes and dirt and colour grading. No blending, no additional lighting, no staging.
I waited for the perfect moment of clouds covering the sky for an even lighting without shadows and a matching person walking through the frame for scale. I wanted the shot to be as graphic as possible. Zooming in to the main architectural features is way more suggestive while your head automatically presages the rest of the building. It makes it more interesting and less descriptive.
