This is a handheld shot of an elegant lounge area at Nashville 505 in Nashville, TN. I shot this at 50mm and shaped the light by dodging and burning. The color palette of the interior design was slightly dated, so I changed the sofa's blueish grey tone to a beige gray, the light browns into a mocha brown, and the crayola greens to an olive green. The light fixtures up top was orange, creating a typical Hollywood orange and teal look which I disliked, so I made that a soft pink to add to the overall elegant mood that the original architecture imbued.
This is a composite of 2 exposures, but I ended up blowing out the windows anyways since the view was very ugly. Yes I have steady hands!
