This was not the shot we had planned at this time, but it was the shot we needed to take. For me this seems to always happen right as we arrive on site and we're ready to do our initial walk through. I knew I wanted to shoot this right now because we had the light and I wasn't sure we were going to get it again in the next few days.
Right in front of the stairs were 40-50 heavy paper shredding receptacles. Our crew of 4 moved them out of frame as quickly as possible before the cloud cover came back. After that we placed a few of us throughout the scene and waited as others passed through and capture their movement. I think this is 1-2 different exposures with different frames for the people to be placed where we wanted them.
