A stark black and white might seem odd for this contest but what I like so much about this is that it is essentially an image of light. The architecture of the pergola plus the light creates this awesome set stripes. The set up was mostly about waiting for the light to be right and selecting the right location to capture the angles.

I regret that i didn't give this photo 4 stars. I gave it only 3 stars, witch I can se now was wrong. But its to late to redo the rating now.
I think this photo is fantastic abstract. Its more a work of art than perhaps architecture natural light photo, but i really like the composition, light and the use of b&w. This could be placed on the wall in an art exhibition.
