This was shot with a 12mm Laowa lens on my DSLR, 15ft up on a pole. The back of this property slopes right off a cliff and is immersed in trees. The client absolutely required this photo and I thought I could get it with a drone. 28mm on the Mavic 2 wasn't nearly wide enough and I couldn't get further back with the trees. I waited for the right light to catch both Whistler mountain in the reflection and directly on the house to further make the home feel enveloped in the forest. Hoised the camera & lens so it's not seen in any reflections too. Very little tweaking or retouching needed on this shot.
