This is the view of the Parthenon of Athens from mount Lycabettous. This picture was taken with Canon eosR and the 100mm f/2.8L macro lens on a tripod. I think that this building not only symbolises the birth of the western civilisation but is also amazingly beautiful even though is has been through hell and it has been literally torn apart. The beauty of the cityscape is even more beautiful at night.
