Pine generally looks kinda cheap. It's ok if your product is a rough type. But if the watch aspires to be unique timepiece wood should be some rich hardwood or exotic.
True but I wanted a light colored wood to complement the color theme of the image. At that time that was the only choice available.
I think a nice birch or walnut would have worked too also I would get rid of the cologne as it draws too much attention and makes the left side feel heavy. Otherwise great shot and great concept!
