Erv is a "mountain man" from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. He has even been in a few of the reality shows about Mountain men. He and his brother were building a shed when I arrived one evening and I took a few pictures of the shed and then turned the camera on Erv. There was barely enough sunlight left to get this shot.

I like the "crunchy" conversion to B&W.
Reducing the highlight above the cap would keep the focus lower in the image.
Framing up the image so the peak of the cap exited the image in the corner might remove the hot spot in that part of that image that leads the eye way from the eyes of Erv.
Love the close crop abd Erv engaging gaze, my first 5 stars as I make my way through...
