Getting the shadow of the dragonfly onto the leaf with such precision is gold!
I admit I had to add an additional star because I totally missed the shadow of the dragonfly on the leaf. I wonder if a tighter crop would help in this particular contest...but at the expense of composition (which I find great) it may not be worth it.
You might be right, it would bring the eye to the dragonfly and the shadow... I am just a sucker for dragonflies lol
I guess a different post-process might help a little, The image is a little over-exposed and the highlights are blown out. More contrast would make the shadow and the whole image pop
