Experiencing sunrise on Alpe Seceda in South Tyrol is such a humbling experience. The harsh and deep cliff on the one side - and rolling meadows on the other side of Furchetta and Sas Rigais are like an ode to shadow and light - yin and yang - good and bad. It doesn't get much more epic than this.
Taken with 21mm to get the foreground in as well as the little hiker on the meadow
