This is photo of my girlfriend from amazing location in Northern Ireland called the Dark Hedges. The idea was to create fairytale like image in warm color tones with framing created from trees where light ''at the end of tunnel '' behind the horizon line added nice contrast for subject separation. We were very lucky with the light that morning. This location is usually full of tourists, ( some of scenes for Game of Thrones were filmed here ), but very early mornings in summer helped us and we ended up on location nearly by ourselves.

What focal length this been shoot with?

That's what I actually thought :). "Telephoto compression" creates this amazing look.Apart of good light and good composition :).

And you getting tge best parts of them trees also. Many of them are broken from storms, big gaps between them.. Shallow DOF helped also.. Not only with the subject separation 😉

Where have I seen this photo before? ;)

its actually funny that I've find this all competition and live YouTube channel of yours because you have chosen my photo as the cover for this contest Lee. I've uploaded my portfolio on stoppers just few days ago so it was real surprise to see my photo as photo of the day and right after seeing the same photo as cover for the competition :)
