This was taken in my home town of Emerald Isle North Carolina, out on the point. There's lots of interesting sand dunes out there that are constantly changing. These fences are sporadically placed out there to assist the sand dunes. I think these fences make for some interesting compositions. For this, I got really close with a wide angle lens (shot at 16mm). I like how the fence kind of leads you through the frame. It leads you to the sand dunes in the background, to the sun setting and to the ocean in the distance.
