Out in the middle of Yellowstone country for the summer to work in a restaurant, during the onset of the Covid hysteria, I had brought very little equipment along . We made the best of it. In a tightly cramped hotel room, with a nice light coming in through the window from camera right,
I propped a speed light on the bed, With no modifiers in my bag I unscrewed a lamp shade form a hotel fixture and used it to diffuse, creating the light from camera left.
i was laying on my back, tucked under the desk, up against their wall to give enough room for the composition.
