To get good results especially with faces I find its best to start with the most basic prompt and then experiment with adding additional words one at a time to see what works and what doesn't. Also upscaling and then re-rolling the upscaled version can help get the desired result. Changing the output aspect ratio also has a pretty big factor on the type of image you'll get. Definitely a lot of trial and error involved.
