The Liferace at Night

This image came alive at the time of my emergancy medical community service, at the redcross organisation.
I worked as an ambulance driver and paramedic. In my first night shift, my college and I were called for a passed out granddad.
I remember the adrenalin rushing through my body. The blue lights thrown out into the cold, dark night, hitting trees and lighten them up.
If I remember correctly the patient was already awake as we arived and brought to the hospital by us.
But I will never forget the feeling of uncertainty and willingness to help in this moment.
This photograph remindes me at so many little moments I have from that time.

It is actually shot on daylight, due to the car working time, and we just had a small time slot.
