2.57 - "Solid" 

The pilgrimage church Maria Gern in Berchtesgaden, Germany, overlooking the Watzmann mountain in the alps. It was shot on a Canon 6d with the Canon 50mm f1.8 to really emphasize the core of the milky way. The sky is a stack of 12 exposures combined using Sequator.

this looks a little too fake for me (maybe because of lifting the shadows of the church or something... there is a little haloing around that i feel like

I've combined a dozen exposures of the sky using Sequator to get a brighter exposure with more detail and made a sky replacement with that file, so that might have caused some issues. But if you're talking about the haloing over the trees, that is actually due to the light pollution of Berchtesgaden, which is located between the church and the alps.
