I took this picture on the Italian Alps in Val Formazza, I got there pretty early and as I saw the little church on the hill I immediately thought about this picture knowing hiking up I would have had the chance to see when the sun hit the church so I started to hike until the right moment and then it was quite a straightforward pic to take, telephoto lens and not much things to do in post-process except the removal of some distracting elements
