2.32 - "Needs Work"

I stayed in Paso Robles for a week in the spring to taste wine, ride bikes, and for some landscape photography. I spotted this tree on a low rise in a vineyard not far from where my wife and I were staying. I visited the spot several days, but the light was never quite right. On the last night there, I got the best conditions I had seen. The photo was taken just before sunset using a Nikon D850 with a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art lens on a tripod. This is a HDR series of five photos of which I used three to produce the photo. The initial settings were ISO: 64, 70mm, f/10, at 1/5 of a second. The photo was processed using LR; where I combined the three photos for the HDR. I then used DXO’s Nik Color Efex Pro in PS to bring out the color and contrast. Also, in PS I cleaned up some extra bushes and poles using content-aware. Finally, the sky was dull and grey, no clouds just a haze, so I replaced the sky in PS to give it more color and interest.
