This picture taken from a boat on Malign Lake in Jasper National Park, AB, Canada, pretty much conveys the feeling of being on this pristine, nearly untouched lake (online accessible by chartered boats and canoes). Serenity and peacefulness, this is an otherworldly place that makes one feel small, in a good way.
I've been inspired by colours in film in my personal work and I played with colour grading in this image pushing the blues and purples almost to an extreme in order to emphasize the feeling of the place and convey both the majesty and danger of truly wild landscapes.
