Please meet Marmalade, the neighbourhood cat, she is my go to talent whenever I need a model and she never disappoints. Of course I treat her like a queen, feeding and taking care of her, on cold nights she sleeps inside. This image was taken in the front of the apartments complex where we have a small garden. I used a Sony A74 + nifty 50 (also from Sony), @50mm (doh!), f/1.8 (of course), 1/250 shutter speed and ISO 125. I used Photoshop for some color correction, some Vibrance and some local Sharpening (especially for her eyes). Also the right side of the background was blown out, so I used Healing brush. The left side is the original, out of focus, unaltered bokeh from that amazing lens. Purrrfect!
