There is a maintained herd of approximately 700 bison on Antelope Island State Park Utah, only a 20 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City.
The there have no natural predators and will lumber up to most vehicles and persons. You really need to keep you head on a swivel.
This was one of 3 large bulls grazing right after a snowstorm and he was sure to keep an eye on our group.
