2.14 - "Needs Work"

This shot is from my family's peach trees. They were starting to bloom in february as the bees were coming around. Unfortunatly this was right before some cold weather which killed most of the crop. At this time the blooms werent fully open and so the bees had to dig a little. I walked around different trees trying to find some action. Those kinds of bees dont care about people so you can get close, but they do move around a lot. I like how you can see the pollen stuck to the right leg. Getting so close with a macro can be challening but its always fun to see small things close up.

Shot with the Nikon D750 and the 105 macro with minimal post processing. I just wanted to balance the color to make the bee and flower stand out. The shallow dof does most of the separation for you.
