This beautiful Meadow Brook Damselfly (Calopteryx splendens) showed up in the curve of a small river in France. I noticed the small spider at the bottom side of the leaf when I was inspecting the picture on my computer. The position of these species on the curved leaf give the picture a special charm.
The photo was cropped and some minor adjustments were done in Lightroom with respect to exposure, highlights, shadows, black and whites, contrast and saturation.

Great picture with the damselfly on top and the small spider positioned the other way round. Often I'm maning the same experience that do find small insects in a photo that I was not aware of when I was shooting the picture as a kind of extra bo us ;-).
