My Uncle is a landscape architect, and created a woodland garden in his backyard, with two ponds and a stream between them. I was in the yard to photograph the garden and some birds, when I spotted this frog. It was right at the edge of one of the ponds, practically under my feet. I didn't want to scare it, so I didn't even crouch down - I just pointed down, and tried to keep my feet out of frame.
Photographed with a Lumix G9 with the Leica 100-400, at 400mm, handheld at 1/25th of a second. The raw file was processed with Darktable.
