2.7 - "Solid"

I met this (lila-breasted) Forked Roller busy with its breakfast when I came back from breakfast on the Namibian side of the Chobe river. Unfortunately, the bird first swallowed the little frog before he flew off and perched in a tree. Therefore, I do have a series of photos with the bird and the frog on a fence as well as with the bird in a tree, but without the poor frog or - more precisely - with the frog inside the bird. The photo was made using an OMDS/Olympus OM-1 camera combined with the 100-400 lens from Panasonic/Leica. The combination works surprisingly well (way better than the combination of the Pana/Leica lens with the Panasonic G9).

Parameters: 400 mm, F/8, 1/800 s, ISO 500
