On the banks of the James River in Richmond, Virginia. An osprey stretches out to catch a fish as a blue heron poses on a rock. The ospreys and herons are very active in this area during the summer months and give great opportunities to enjoy nature in action while in the middle of the city. Taken with a Canon R5 and Sigma 150-600mm and heavily cropped.
